MSTC – Medication Assistant
Participation in this program requires current employment as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) in a nursing home or long-term care facility and sponsorship by the employer to participate in the program. The Medication Assistant program prepares students with the necessary education and training for qualified certified nursing assistants to follow standard practices for administering medications in long-term care or nursing homes facilities. Note: A prerequisite for this program is that students will be Certified Nursing Assistants in good standing on the state and federal Nursing Assistant Registries. The Medication Assistant program is offered at the Wisconsin Rapids and Marshfield campuses.
