No prior experience is required to be a certified nursing assistant. One has to just complete the basic program to be a certified nursing assistant and they are sure to get a job immediately. There are lots of institutions that provide the course. There are also some institutes that give free training but will have some conditions attached to it. The job of a certified nursing assistant can pay anywhere between 9$ to 12$ per hour. The pay however depends on the experience and place of employment. One has to clear the competency test after attending the classes to be a certified nursing assistant.
As a certified nursing assistant one can get jobs in hospitals, private homes, mental health facilities etc. The jobs at private homes are on the increase as people find it comfortable to get treated in house.
