This is an issue I recently came accross when doing some research on long term care.
Check out this site for some info, and they usually have ads for employment:
Now, the question is, how much money is more? Do you mean say, a difference of $1,000 year would sway your decision? If so, you,d likely be happier in a hospital. The truth is the pay is quite comparable, but there are a lot of issues to consider.
See this site for a discussion of what to expect in long term care nursing homes:

cna training
Hi I worked as a cna for about a year at a nursing home..VERY HARD!! This is a very hard job..toileting people..changing them feeding them..cleaning them..be prepared!! At the place i worked i was making 11 an hour..but i knew a few people making around 13 or so..at nursing homes..BUT i intened with school at a hospital..so much easier..working as a cna at a hospital..depending on the floor you are going to be taking vitals and doing blood sugars and ASSISTING people to the bathroom and with adl’s..you are not going to have to do many of the things you will do in a nursng home..while i was there i was told cna’s with no experience would start around..15 an hour with experience a little more..so hospital is less strenus work and more money..I probably would still be working as a cna but decided to switch career paths..going to school to be a teacher now..btw i did this when i was in highschool couple years ago so may be a little more now..and im in mass so could be more or less where you are! Hope this helps!!
p.s.
It is much harder to get a cna job at a hospital!! But if you can and you choose a hospita in the city i think it closer to 17-18 an hour!
